Junior year is a crucial year in planning for your future. This is the last year you will be able to increase your GPA. This year you will also take the PSAT/SAT/ACT exams and begin your college search. Junior year can be a stressful time due to all that needs to be accomplished. Remember to pace yourself, to continue participating in activities that you enjoy and find relaxing, and to speak with your school counselor if you are feeling overwhelmed. Attached is the junior and senior year timeline.

Additionally, this year you will begin your college search. Starting the college application process early, consistently doing work each month, and staying organized, will make this process most productive and enjoyable.

Don't forget to continue your commitment to extracurricular activities such as volunteer work. Volunteer work can provide an opportunity to help others, become more involved with the community, explore possible career areas, and build upon college resumes.
