South High School's 2025 National Merit Scholarship Semifinalists
South High School is pleased to announce that twenty-two students have been named Semifinalists in the prestigious 2025 National Merit Scholarship Competition (NMSC). These South High School seniors are recognized for their "exceptional academic ability and potential for success in rigorous college studies.

Our recent Club Fair was a great success, offering students the opportunity to explore and learn about the wide variety of clubs available at South High School. From academic clubs to creative and community-focused groups, the fair highlighted the many ways students can get involved, make new friends, and pursue their passions.

Long Island Fencing Champions!
Congratulations to the South High Fencing program on capturing both the boys' and girls' Long Island Championship crowns in 2024! This is the first time in Nassau County history that one school has won both titles in the same season.

The School of Distinction Award recognizes that all 2023-24 Rebels varsity teams qualified for the Scholar-Athlete Team award during their respective season.
